Car looks great! I am curious to remove my CSL Intake a few months down the line and see what I'll find in there LOL

Just made an attempt at this, this afternoon and was wondering how the fook did you get the bands that are holding the airbox onto the air inlets off? I'm guessing you need some kind of special, sexy tool? I tried using long nose pliers but didn't want to get them off and find I can't get them back on.

At least I got inside the airbox and all cleaned up again.

Special tool indeed. Part number: 119160 - £97.53+VAT

I used thin nosed molegrips & small screw driver to prise off. Then reinstalled the factory ones back on. Before re-installing, spray the back of the hose clip with a little WD40 to make the closing of the clip easier, preventing them to grip the rubber hose (this will evaporate off in time).

Then you will find getting the clips to the position shown below will ensure the clip doesn't open. Once the clip is secure in this position get the molegrips and force them to the original closed position.

Tbh they're fairy difficult to get to all 6x... So best thing to do is remove the metal Air line assembly above them all. This you will give you better access releasing and reinstalling them all. While your at it give the Airline assembly an inspection and clean too (like I did in the previous post)

Cheers KK, that's great. I could probably get the 1st 3-4 off, but it's getting the cylinders 5 & 6 that might be a royal cnut!
