Certainly how Porsche make their kits for the German market and as BC racing have been making suspension for the Jap market for 10 years plus, yes it's how they do it now also.

Not sure if AP does a conversion kit until I speak to them tomorrow but Simpson Motorsport does a kit for a £100+ vat I had fully floating discs on my previous 911 and never had any issues with...

The AP discs are 2 piece yes.... Well a kit can be purchased to make them fully floating which will help with heat and warping. I believe the kit is £100
