Default oem back box

just lifted the oem back box out of the boot, f--k me how heavy, when bmw made the coupe sport lightweight (csl) they must have completely forgotten about the back breaking back box.

It's ridiculous how heavy it is, hilarious when compared to the likes of supersprint race.

I had a SS back box on mine when I got it, the previous owner had just put it on prior to me becoming the new owner. This was mainly due to the flange brackets falling apart on the oem box. I purchased the flange repair kit from ML and put the oem bbox back on because I was concerned about db restrictions at certain track venues. I am considering selling it, any idea what it is worth? It's done less than a 1000 miles. But you're right there is a massive difference between the two.
