Jim and evxlge bth have used V70 on the m3/CSL

A few guys have used Toyo with mixed esults.

You'll end up going slower but maybe save some money

More specifically how would you say the V70a compare to the R888? Keep reading conflicting views on the net!

Cups would be nice but are very pricey!

I've had ao48's but not r888's and on a different car as well.... so can't really offer you much advice

I had used kumho's at donny, that have worn surprisingly little considering i did just over 200 miles and traction was off, grip is down on cups I would say, as shimmy overtook me while i was struggling for grip but they are 2007 vintage.... more excuses are that it was my first day in the m3, in rwd too, and my car is 200kg heavier than his

Would you say similar to A048?

Seems the Cups despite having the most traditional tread pattern still give best grip for road legal semis.

similar in that you can drive on them for ages I had yoko's from new, and 10 days on they still gripped, but just not the same, these are 2007 and part worn so hard to say what new ones would be like. I'd probably get cups from new next unless there was a massive price difference.

Cups are best of that I have no doubt
