Trackday ware rates?

Hi Chaps,

Was wondering if i could leech some info on how often you chaps replace items on your M.

Such as how long do your pads last in AP's, how many days out of a set of tyres r888/cups, how often you drop the engine, gearbox, diff oil etc?

Ive done 3 TD's on my cups & i hope they will do another 3-4 so 7?
AP Pads look very good after 3 days, not much sign of wear

What pads are you running? Im running blue stuff and i dont think they will last 5 days...

R888 are wearing well however.

I Think most of us run RS29 yellow

Round figures will depend on your driving style, and how you manage geo and
Tyre pressures/temps also westher conditions and rain etc, but my records show recently:

RS29 front 800 track miles
RS29 rear 1200 track miles
AP discs 2000 track miles
AP rear discs 4000-5000 track miles
19 OeM cups 4-6td front, 6-8td rear
18 cups square 8-9 td

Engine 50 track days . - ill delete that comment later

Thats impressive that the brakes last so long. Pound for pound it works out cheaper than running lesser priced pads and you get the stopping power

Just bear in mind most of Shim's track days are spent sipping Pimms in the paddock so maybe his stats are abit off
