CSL data request - bounty for helping!
Hello from across the pond!
I have a request for you fine CSL owners! I am willing to compensate via paypal for your willingness to help with this fairly simple request. As some of you may or may not know, the m3 community is researching the MSS54(HP) dme and trying to make heads or tails of it. Here is the megathread: http://www.m3forum.net/m3forum/showthread.php?t=423771 So, this leads me to where you guys come into play! If any of you have a basic VagCom cable and a 20-25 minutes, you can really help out the community! All you need to do really, is 1. Download and install BMWflash http://bimmersoftware.com/BMWFlash/ 2. click 'read' and create a file to email! Please contact me via PM or email at abad46 @ gmail.com if you are willing and able to help, and we can discuss your bounty and details! Cheers! Chris |

That's the beauty of this! It is super simple to get a dump with BMWflash, no knowledge necessary! If any of you have an obd cable that works with the bmw tools than you are able to help!

I've been following that post quite closely.
Happy to do it and have all the tools and cables needed. Issues at the moment is car is in storage ... will go grab it this weekend and do this for you, unless someone gets to it before me. abad46 (Chris) - what's your forum name on m3forum? Also I am curious why you guys need an actual DME dump when the tune's are readily available from ediabas? Last edited by NZ_M3; 23-01-2013 at 10:43 AM. |

Sounds like fun but I think I need to do the solder mods on my cable first. Will report back.
