Brembo brakes on csl ?
I have been offered a full set of brembo 4 pot brakes and discs from an evo 6, does anyone know if these could be adapted to fit csl ??
An AP kit is around 2K these are £200, Thought it was worth finding out. |

I personally would advise you to stick with what you've got, at least for the moment. Either buy Pagid RS29's and some AP PRF 660 Brake Fluid with the money, or Put the £200 toward a set of AP's which are 6 Pot front and 4 Pot rear for track use, when finances permit. The existing are more than adequate to cope with fast road use, if you're after cosmetics then simply paint the existing ones Red.

From what little I know about brakes I'd just say be wary of a set up that isn't designed for the car they go on!
Don't forget a brake I guess has a design that's brakes both front and rear in a ratio that should work whereas just having a similar size disc and calliper/piston set up just might not work as well. Just as an example a change in pad material rent to back can create skimming and skipping so god knows what an unbalanced calliper/disc set up would feel like.

I've been using EBC pads for as long as I can remember and never had an issue... Plus as Mark says they are good value for ££.

Put the money towards the AP's but don't have them with the stock pads ask for Pagids instead
