Default H&R clubsport

hello how are you guys ?

I m just back from the Nurburgring and I begin to feel than I need some new suspension because the car move a lot ( compare to other with good setup suspension )

So I m thinking about the H&R Clubsport number: RSS-16-355-1/1 or RSS-16-355-1/1-V ( waiting to find some info about the difference....

- what do you think about that kit for street and nurburgring use ?

- what you would use for my kind of using ?

- what do you think about PSS10, or KW V2 ???

thank you very much

KW clubsport IMO is hard to beat for road and track use.

Nothing else I think is as good for under £2k.

The H&R stuff seems more popular over Europe compared to Uk, not saying its not good. But its a bit of an unknown quantity over here. I personally dont know anyone running H&R in UK, so I cannot pass judgement.

Lots in the UK fit £500 coilover kits and says its awesome, I know they are not so, but its subjective to what you know and can feel.

Intrax are commonly used by members on here with great reviews, although the 1k2 is more track based, costs more and from what I have seen, require more maintenance. But are still fantastic.

Hi,

I think you have to ask as they are not
advertised as such but H & R always
seem to make a 'Nordschleife' version.

Guys running the H&R Coilover kits on
both the E30 M3 and Merc 2.5 16v say
the ''Nordschleife'' kits are very well tuned
for the Ring and yet still offer compliance
for road use.

Several started with Cup kits but now
run the Nordschleife kit and say its just
much better than the Cup.

I would ask H&R direct, do not ask an
Agent or Re-seller, as they are mostly
clueless.

Hope that helps.

Regards,

The Gorilla.

Ok thank you for your help.

When I was to the ring I spoke with the both boss of the compagny "lightweight Titan auspuffanlagen " and they Adviced me the new kit clubsport from bisltein, but they agree than it's an expensive stuff and not that easy to set. Marcus who is driving a gts changed the kw for the bisltein and said than now it's a new car !!!

Not so many good point for kW this weekend but I saw than H&R sell 2 different clubsport one is only height adjustable and the other one is height + hardness adjustable ( with rear plate in mono ball ) but it cost more than the Kw clubsport V2....
