Default Engine Number

Help!

Could someone tell me or even better show me with a picture how to see the actual engine number on my csl?

I have spent the weekend under the car with a torch, mirror etc. but still not sure where I am looking. So before I start stripping airbox etc. just need to now where it is.

I know the number from the paperwork, but just doing a check to actually locate it and pysically see it.

Thanks

Take the driver side front wheel off while the car is jacked up and look at the middle of the block just at where it meets the sump. There should be a small white sticker there with the number. You can see through the wishbone inboard too. You don't have to remove any parts and if you have ramps you don have to take any parts off.

Cant see anyone posting a picture of their engine number.
