Default Go Pro mounting in CSL ?

I have a go pro and short of sticking something on the dash which I don't want to I'm not sure where to mount it?

Does anyone use one? Mounting point?

Mount it upside down on the windcreen and then go into the menu to invert the image recorded.

Why not mount to your helmet gives good view and you get the feeling of speed and bumps etc.

I use front window and upside down feature, or rear window so the driver is also visible

Has anyone tried the suction mount that sticks to the windscreen?

Yep Iused before a suction mount on the screen before (proper.Brian Hague jobbie) but these days in UK suction mount is not allowed. You could try tethering it to the mirror and say it is permanently secured.

Alternatively you could use the screw mounting points on the passenger sun blind fixing on the bottom of the roof. Easy to get at, just need a clamp that you can convert to use.

Rear window not a good idea.

I used my cousins original GoPro Hero as my new Hero2 showed up ONE day after I left for the Ring.. not impressed GoPro!!

However mounting it on the rear window is to far back & you wouldn’t get a good/clear picture out the front window.

I’d an added problem too, my cousin lent it to a fella who lost all the feckin mounts, so I'd to improvise with a 12euro phone mount out of the service station as you exit the Eurotunnel, did the job better than I thought it would & even better now when I read the posts above & realise I'd had the same problem with the proper mount getting enough angle on it when trying to mount it on the front window.
