Providing that the suspension is set up correctly - you should see a difference - have more confidence on track.
It's all about suspension, tyres and ability to use as little brakes as possible. Real men don't brake, remember that. LOL |

I don't know how many laps you've done or what sort of driver you are, but are you sure your at the limits of the standard setup, if not any gains will probably be down to confidence rather than improvements in mechanical grip, which you could probably achieve with more practice and training.
If you are at limits of the oem setup I'd guess no more 10 seconds. I honestly think it would take years to master the ring, it different everday depending on the weather/temp

![]() are you at your limits at the ring yet mr kislik? because I realise now that all the money i have spent on upgrading the car could have been spent enjoying it and upgrading me at the same time ![]()

Super lap.
If that's you driving and in a standard setup I'm afraid I've no worthwhile advice for you. However, I went from standard to a KW cs , cage, AP setup and it changed my confidence substantially. I believe 15/20 secs off .

no doubt about it though, the 'ring lap time does seriously benefit from horsepower as there's plenty of sections to use it. nightmare question to answer though, unless you had a closed track all to yourself, just picking up 2 cars of traffic can make all the difference... |

correct about the traffic but You can fell the difference when no traffic. and yes again Ring is a lot about power, but we know that it's power to weight ratio what makes it fast so if I can 't have more power from the cal maybe i can have less weight :-) the stock setup is very well compromised for street and track and I don't track in anywhere else than the ring, but still the suspension is a bit weak specially on fast parts like schwedenkreutz it's scary in 240+ |
