Leak - Diff?
Thought id give the exhaust tips a clean last night and noticed a leak on the drive.
I know, how to smash it on a Monday night, bottle of Jack Daniels and cleaning the exhaust tips, rock n roll lifestyle. As this is the only leak on drive it must of been from a blast on sunday, or its been leaking and just started to drip. Attached are a couple of pictures, not great as couldn't get under the car The oil is thin, has no smell, slight brown tinge? What do you guy's think, before I book it in at Elms. Billy |

I had something similar and it turned out to be a collapsed drive shaft bearing. Grab each SHAFT nearer the diff and see if there's any movement in it and chances are, one will have collapsed. Mine was the O/S that had gone.

My diff seal began to weep recently but Simpson spotted it early enough before it had lost too much gearbox oil and caused any damage. They changed the seal and refreshed the oil and it's been fine since with a trip to the Ring and TD at Silverstone.
