What a weekend...................................
So Saturday came and I thought with the good weather I'd give the CSL a good going over as I'm sort of thinking about selling it so thought it would benefit from this also the weather was nice so I thought I could make a day out in it on Sunday.
Anyway it was my Grandads 99th birthday party Saturday night so me the wife and 2 kids attended for the first hour only My just turned 3 year old got his thumb caught in a fire door when it was closing this cutting his thumb nearly off to his first digit My wife ran to me carrying him crying his eye out bleeding like mad, anyway we rushed him to hospital, I really didn't think there was much hope of saving his thumb but they xrayed him and said it would need a operation. After 48hrs in hospital he's had the 2 and a half hour operation this involved reducing and plating a open fracture, repairing his ripped tendon and removing his thumb nail, he's now got a half pot on for 2 weeks till he goes back to the fracture clinic, but at least he gets to keep his thumb So I thought I'd go for a drive today in my clean car got a few pics when I got back also one of my boy bless him. |

Awe bless the wee soul, I can imagine it was an awful time for the whole family and glad it looks like he's going to save the thumb, those fooking fire doors are down right dangerous. I remember having them on our first house and we fitted dampers on at the top of them to stop them slamming and things like this happening.
Loving the wee mans Pj's, CSL looks well too mate. Good luck a health to everyone. |

Kids are amazing though arent they, if it were an adult that done that to their hand it would involve weeks off work and 100 excusses whereas with a child all they want to do is get back outside and play with their mates at the 1st chance.
Hope he has a speedy recovery and top pics of the motor |

Shane, hope the kid gets better quick and gives you no more scares!
And get the grill changed back (from an ex-black grill convert)

Car looks awesome, black grills & depo's are not something I had ever considered but it might take the focus off my mudflaps 15mm spacers? |
