Hi,
NZ_M3- have you been Tracking at Pukekhoe for a couple of years now ? Racer named Conrad, White E30 M3 was in the Bastos colours last year before he sold it, now re-building a 92/93 E30 M3 DTM car. If you know of him, please tell him that, The Gorilla says hi, next time your at the circuit. I have seen a couple of Conrads in car vids from Pukekhoe, and the footage from the TV Race series that was filmed there. White 2002 Turbo, Z3M, E46 GT M3 IN 2009 I beleive, RS500 etc, some quite rare stuff all being driven like they were intended. Stephen Grelley ? Blue E30 M3 2.7 DTM, Car EX Bmw France, running in the Piloti Colours, seems like a lot of the DTM / WTCC stuff ends up down your way or in OZ. Regards, The Gorilla. |

Nice one Tom , you using a GoPro cam? Sounds like the audio track was out of sync with the vid !! in first one ! At one point you were going up through the gears giving it the beans and at the same time heading into a tight left hander . Lovely weather for it too .. are you guys just heading into summer now ? or still in Spring ?

It does worry me Gorilla that you profess to be a technical genius with cars but still press the return key every line you type like it's a typewriter

Hi,
Shimmy - I am no technical guru, far from it. Just that in building up a couple of project cars you get to learn things which if it they can be passed on to assist or help others, then good. I find that the typewritter ribbon last longer with the default to the left. Its German. azrael- The E46 Project is on hold while this one gets completed. Merc 190 2.3 16v which I have converted to Rack and Pinion and Coilovers all round. Some E46 M3 parts, like the 50 mm TB's, the velocity stacks are from the E46 M3 Air box, as well as the front hubs, and discs, with 850 4 pot Brembos up front on Hamann M3 Coilovers. Was going to use E30 LSD but managed tp source a DTM AMG 75% lock 3.69 LSD from a Merc 92/93 DTM Car and its Headers, which are Inconnel as well. Be interesting to see what it does when its done. Regards, The Gorilla. |

I don't think there's a BMW enthusiast in NZ that doesn't know Conrad Yes you are right too about my experience at Pukekohe Not sure who Stephen Grelley is though. And you are right ... all the very cool stuff seems to end up downunder for some reason (maybe we lot just like to collect stuff that others dont want ) Quote:
I did notice that the audio and video was out of sync - seems that the video is slower than the sound track (so technically I am going faster than what the eyes are telling you ) - Might have something to do with the way I chopped the recording or the actual upload, haven't figured that one out yet. |
