Someone told me today that BMW offered a carbon fibre bonnet as an option for the e46 CSL and that he must be right as he worked there

SMD has both Front Wings and the Bonnet in Carbon Fibre on his car!

Not OEM and I doubt from BMW but stunning and a bloody good weight saving none the less!
