Default How does the intake grille fit to the front bumper?

Guys,

I've bought an intake grille for the vent on my CSL bumper but am unsure how they are attached. Is it simply silicon etc or is there something more OEM?

Cheers,

Ben

Unsure what part you mean, you referring to the front 2x grill surrounds?

Part number 8? Part number 4?

Number 4 is loads of little 'awkward' clips that are a NIGHTMARE to get off. Bumper has to come off for that one.
Number 8: I couldn't find anything securing it while I had my bumper off for paint, but would be keen to know if in fact there is something.

I'm pretty sure thats the case too, it sits in a lip near the entrance to the tube

Number 8 Guys, the small round one.

I've got a 100mm airfeed to run up to the airbox so this may suffice but i'm thinking silicone to secure but also make sure it's not permanent for respray purposes etc.

I'd imagine just a wee bit of superglue would do the job too, just a couple of spots. Silicone would work too but what colour do you go for? White, clear or black? Oh, the choices!!! lol
