We are slightly different in that we have two levels - TMS Race Team driver and TMS supported drivers. Next season we will run full team drivers where you get your own race suit, co-liveried car and access to the wider range of racing we are doing next year on behalf of a large sponsor whom we are announcing (I hope) at Autosport but it may not be until end Jan.

We will also run independant drivers in their own cars as well where we support and engineer the cars on behalf of the owner driver but there is no shared sponsorship or livery requirements. We can run 2 more cars next season in this regard and we have one car left as a full TMS Race Team drive.

I know Geoff Steel has one car available, Will has already posted their contact details so give him a call, BM Worx also are preparing one although I think they have a driver already for that one but ring Russell to confirm. Costs will vary to some extent between the teams and what you get, for example a man with van, trailer and car will be a lot cheaper than those teams with 45 foot artics, corporate awnings and sponsorship deals so go for what you want to have need rather than purely on price. For example, the larger teams will have data engineers where your race data can be analysed and compared with other team members to maximise your pace and performance and smaller teams not. Things like parts support etc need to be taken into consideration however all the teams are friendly and will help each other out - its part of a series IMO.

The CSL Cup is pretty good in that whomever you race with you'll get use of the VIP awning for you and your guests which offers breakfast and lunch both days of racing and extra tickets for this can be bought if you need more than 4 per weekend.

For us it breaks down as around £2500 for the car plus costs, so assume a set of tyres (£977), fuel and consumeables (£400), entry fees (£450-500, £250 test day fee)), insurance (£800) but this includes your own tech, your own data engineer, the Friday test day and the weekend all the corporate entertainment and our large double race awning.

Most other teams will be broadly similar perhaps cheaper depedning on what they offer in terms of support.

Next season we will run all of our cars with Pi Omega data displays with video overlay (this is being demo'd at Autosport) so we'll be able to overlay different drivers lines and laps from all our team drivers to enable them all to get the best lines and results.
