Default Couple of AP questions pls

Hi...should be sorting some of these soonish (fronts only), but a couple of q's:

1. Do the Goodridge hoses for the E46 M3 hook up to AP's? (or a different thread/size?)

e.g. these: http://www.thorneymotorsport.co.uk/p...oducts_id=4202

2. Presume sensible (and not much more $$) to put braided hoses on the back as well? ..might as well while I'm doing it?

3. I know the Ferodo pads that they come with aren't considered great, but was thinking just use them for now. My rear OEM discs and pads are pretty new, so cld replace all round with Pagid pads when the time comes.

NB I might do the odd track day, but not loads, and when I do I'll be quite nice to the car ;-)

Chrs! Dan

seriously i would not do ONE trackday with DS2500 fited as you will leave the track thinking your discs are fooked

buy some RS14, easy to fit and take them out later (ill buy them off you)

AP come with lines attached to the calipers as standard.

I would upgrade the pads to Pagids - Ferodos just don't cut it if you track it.

If you do track it - don't drive like a wuss...

Would I need Pagid's front and rear?

Or are OEM pads in the back OK?

So... would OEM calipers+pads on the rear with AP's+RS14 on the front be OK?

Not ideal as you then cause the car to be too front heavy under braking.. admittedly not the end of the world, but it just means rather than having steady and balanced set up you change the dynamics of the car a little.

I would change the pads all round and hoses for the rear, if you've gone to the expense and trouble of AP's at the front its worth doing that little bit extra to finish it off properly TBH

try it and see, cheapest solution

Won't be far off and as said above maybe might need to up the pads from Ds2500 to Pagid if the back calliper is not changed
