Default Is a CSL worth more in parts than a complete car ?

The basis that some of the bits of the CSL are going for astromonical money (eg carbon fibre internal panels/seats/wheels etc) - surely there becomes a base price for a CSL as it'll be worth more in parts ?

From some of the prices I've seen, I would agree that the CSL is worth more in parts than as a whole - I think if I ever came to sell mine, I'd probably sell it as parts rather than as a whole.

I know what you're saying. £2K for back seats. Another couple of grand for Door cards? £800 for the roof. £2.5K for the Airbox alone??? Bumper, boot, wheels? Car thief's dream by the looks of it!

I think all cars are worth more in parts.

I saw a report once that a 4 year old Ford Focus worth £6k trade was actually worth £12k for the bits alone!

Dunno where these prices are coming from, seen a full interior go for around 1.7k all in, 2k for the rear seats is dream world, as it £2.5k for a second hand airbox and a couple of grand for door cards. Carbon roof (copy) can be bought cheaper than £800 new too.

Most cars are worth less than the sum of their individual parts by a significant margin, especially limited run high end stuff like the CSL.

Baz - I bet those rear seats don't sell for that.

If you are prepared to wait you can pick up an entire interior for under 2k
