I knew she was Special....but!
Guys,
Thought i would share my thoughts, sorry for the essay gents! Just took Cecil out for the first time since having it serviced at Bartletts (March) Now this is me literrly jumping out of the car and onto the computer to write this. As some of you know, i have the old girl up for sale, its only for sale as i had the chacnce to buy an Porsche 991 GT3 in a very rare Spec so bought that, as im no lottery winner the CSL im my mind i had to let go so, hence the forsale advert. OMFG having just come back i can honestly say it is the BEST handling/balanced car i have ever driven, i owned some right exotica as well, i know the cars not standard CSL spec having the Intrax suspenion, and AP front and rears but, even so, you can feel soooo much, steering feel is unreal and 100% IMO the finest drivers car for the road, as you can exploit and access ALL the power in a safe way on the road, whereas in my 991 GT3 you just cant, the GT3 feel heavy, steeing feel is not a patch on the CSL (For Real). SO, i have decided for the meantime to keep the car, change some things like the suspension for a more road compliant setup. (Intrax 1K2 will be for sale shortly, only 4K DRY road miles) and go a poxy enjoy the car when i get the chance!! Think i may sell the Porsche.... But not just yet! |

Enough said.
I still don't want to replace the old girl as nothing appeals. An Exige 380 maybe, but the Mrs calls them tinny. Be interesting to hear more on the Porker. |

100% agree with you mate
I'm being forced by my patner to sell mine for a house and just as I get to weekend to clean it and take pics to sell it I make the mistake of taking it round the block This normally lasts a week before I put it away cos I'm too busy and need more time to clean and advertise it lol See what I'm doing? I wish I could buy a house and keep my car I asked my brother to buy it from me n sell it back to me a year later when I can get an equity loan out but he won't bite lol I don't wanna sell my pride n joy

I'm lucky as the Mrs is not interested in houses. She is happy with our little terraced place. |
