Default 2016 Isle of Man trip

Anyone done the Isle of Man ?

Any interest in a long weekender this year ?

I'm happy to look into crossings / hotels if there is preliminary interest ?

Visit annually with work.

TT & Manx weeks to be avoided -

1. driving weekend
2. ferry prices are crazy
3. Hotel costs are crazy

Mountain is one way during racing weeks but two wheeled traffic is epically bad.

I'm thinking of doing the EVO triangle, and a north of the border jaunt...

Evo is fairly local to me (40 mins)

To be avoided unless you're on the circuit by 0600.... on the assumption that it's driven spiritedly!!!

Her Majesty's finest traffic officers are a regular presence.

Circuit? It's a public highway M'Lud, so I was travelling at the advertised speed limits. Honest...

Yeah it's not a biggy, but would be nice to 'enjoy' the supposed beautiful sweeping roads.

Didn't appreciate it would be so busy though?

Very novel idea Rick

Lets all pile in with excuses before the date has been picked....

i'll start things off

1.can't make this guys, too frightened to drive my extremely valuable car in a manner that may or may not affect it's value.....

2.training to be a garage queen technician with an NVQ in carcoon setup

3.the pressure of csl ownership precludes me from embarking on any csl driving enjoyment

joking aside

we should attempt to get the IOM done this spring.
