Tinted strip on front screen?

Did any CSLs have the tinted strip on the top of the screen from the factory? I am sure mine did and the new screen from BMW does not. Could be imagining it! Mine is number 521 if anyone could check.

Mine had the green tint originally.

Two screen types were offered on the CSL; the more conventional 'Green Stripe' (Option Code: S354A) and the 'Climate Comfort' (Option Code: S358A) which has a lilac hue in direct sunlight.

On the build sheet for your car it doesn't actually state the option chosen.

If it doesn't state a screen I think you had the standard green stripe option,just checked mine on the link and it came with the purple tinted climate comfort screen
