Intake manifold & air intake issue
Hi
Looking for some advice. Car is currently in with BMW having an Inspection 1. Car has FBMWSH. The dealer is looking to remove the intake from the intake manifold to replace the air filter but one of the screws cannot be removed and they are concerned about it falling into the engine. Seems I have two options: 1. Replace the air intake at £4000! 2. Get hand up inside air intake and try and remove this way. Up to 2 hours labour. Clearly 2 is preferred. Should this be covered under warranty? What are your thoughts? |
