Has anyone on here run both and have any views as to how good the PSS is when compared to a Cup tyre?
I'm interested in on-the-road reviews rather than on-the-racetrack... |

For road only in all conditions you are better off with PSS and they will have very good grip.
In the dry cups are unbelievable and make the car come alive. |

MPSS is a fantastic wet/dry tyre. If you look at the tread I'd seriously consider 245 front and 275 rear over usual sizes.
however when you put Cups on it seems to suit the car. I couldn't believe the difference in feel on road even with standard size Cups. It has to be tried. Their standing water performance can leaves but to be desired but if you have the ability to drive an alternative car 20 days a year Cups are the business.

Thanks for the feedback, once the PSS are worn out I'll look at the cups, but given the low mileage I do that may be quite a while!

Cups transform the car, even on the road. I change to PSS in the winter.

Although to be fair Cups in the wet, dark night, DuncanR a mobile phone, driving one handed IS scary

The chassis was developed around the Cups, so optimal. The MPSS's will be fine when you are down to 1.6mm tread.
