345 Euros incl lunch.
It's at the Mecedes Benz testing facility, ATP Papenburg. Track kept wet so tyre wear and stress on the car is low. Gravel traps all round so low risk if you come off. http://www.atp-papenburg.de/index.php/en/ It's around a 5 hour drive from Calais, a section of it on de-restricted autobahns Leaving Saturday mid morning/lunchtime via Tunnel (£120). Back sometime Monday. Normally stay here: http://www.hotel-engeln.de/ but might try something different this time. More the merrier. |

I'd love to go to Papenburg one day. Can you just rock up anytime?

No you need to book in advance but there are some spaces left for the 20th April.
This is the company that organise it: http://www.driftdagen.nl/ Email them on: info@driftdagen.nl It's a brilliant track with two routes so it never feels crowded. It is by far the best place to learn and practice car control, i've been to Santa pod (good for learning the basics) and Snetterton (advanced with barriers to hit!). Come along on the 20th. |

I won't be able to make the 20th, however will plan to get there this year. Question is, which car would I enjoy more on this track - M3 or GT3??
AdvEvo's video in his 1M is just epic - that boy has skill |

Usually he or his young prodigy are there, they both have white 1Ms and are more than willing to take you round in them aswel as come out as a passenger in your car and give you tips. It's quite an experience, those guys are so talented.
I'd take the M3 to start. I'm planning to go again on the 12th Oct. |
