I was thinking about this earlier - given that it isn't registered unless it gets written off that car is no different to loads of them that have had a bump and been repaired with nothing recorded. When these cars were new and £60k there were a few bumped on the track with insurance payouts for repairs and nothing recorded, now 4 owners on any reference to that is long gone, as long as repaired properly then all good.
