Default Thoughts on Ex Muhle

Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls. Over the past few years one or two cars have come to grief exiting this bend, and I started wondering why, in particular 2 incidents spring to mind involving the same type of car, this may of course just be incidental but its what started me off.
The question is, why can you bung a car around that bend time and again, pretty much in the same place, then come round one time, and have a problem, well, how about this for an idea, bearing in mind the bad camber and hump on the inside line at this corner. The filling station at Breidsheid is a popular one, particularly for anyone with a JK, so .... quite a few cars get back on there, with full tanks, go uphill, and then throw a hard right, possible fuel spill area for some ?? your thoughts !
Some interesting vids from my research !

A lap with someone who knows, Sabine fast fwd to 4:45 for entry into Breidscheid. See attached pics for hr turn in point and apex.

Couldnt complete my research without this classic ! I know youve all seen it before !

It was the scene of a big oil spill on the thursday, plus like you say how many people actually hit that particular apex???? I know its not the one I'd put a bet on hitting

BMW's Jorg Muller's comment on Ex-Muhle :- No sooner have you mastered the lowest point of the Nordschleife in Breidscheid than you are literally catapulted back upwards: the right hand Ex Muhle takes you around the hill as if on a ramp. The task here is to find the optimum entry speed: if you overdo it, you understeer and slide up onto the high curb, if you are too catious, you will hardly make it up the steep climb, especially with a less powerful car.

Approach Ex Muhle to the left of the track, give only a short, hard stab of the brakes and keep close to the inside curb at the apex. Beware: at the exit, front wheel drive vehicles will tend to understeer heavily, rear wheel drive cars will oversteer - be sure to accelerate early and cleanly but never too hard.
