I'm considering entering the speed trials in the CSL, although it clashes with a sprint at brands hatch.

I did it last year in an even less suitable car for a 1/4mile, Honda S2000.

If your just applying for a license I guess it will be a national B and therefore you'll only be able to enter the handicap class, 2 practice runs and 1 timed so not a great deal of running for the money, still glad I did it though , good event to tick off on the must do list.

I also expect I'll be doing the eagle sprint at Goodwood in early August.

Yes just a national B licence, so handicap it is. Won't be much time as you say which is a shame, but it's a much better birthday present to me, than a handbag

I saw that sprint on their website. May go along to watch so would be good to see a csl entered
