Hoax or bargain
Hi everybody,
I was interesting by a csl but I changed my mind to a ZM3 coupe with full trackday spec...but CSL is still in my mind and I would like to get information about this car. http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/2085634.htm I don't want to make it a Queen of the garage, I want to use it as trackday car but I don't want to buy a big S....then if you have information about this car don't hesitate to answer me. Cheers. Antoine |

I imagine it would be fine as a track slag
You would want to strip it back and check the state of the repair. It does appear like corners have been cut. There are other theads about this car on here

As a CAT C it must have had serious repair work done to it so it needs professionally checking over imho. It should look and feel like a 15k mile car even though it is 6 years old.
Note that in two years (2006 to 200 it did 3000 miles and had the crash and repair, then in 2008 it did 700 miles and in 2009 less than 100 miles. If i was thinking of buying this car i would want alternate proof of the low annual mileage as less than 100 miles would seem very strange unless this previous owner was in a coma or something Front bumper not CSL one so i guess it may be this car. http://www.cslregister.com/forum/sho...ghlight=bumper http://www.cslregister.com/forum/showthread.php?t=2814 Whilst these threwads are pretty negative, if it has been repaired ok, and mileage can be verified then could be a steal if you put in a cheeky offer Shimmy

I had my car for sale a couple of weeks ago due to money issues that are now thankfully resolved
I had a guy come and look at my car that had previously looked at this, he said it was a really bad example, none of the panels lined up right and the roof was rippled like mad due to fire damage, he also said it looked like it had been painted with a brush |

Wouldnt touch it personaly.
I wouldnt touch the car, i saw if for sale for months at around 16.5k and it didn't sell, if you buy it and are unfrotunate to crash it the insurers will pay out a lot less on a cat C, you may be talking 12k, they dont catagorise them as C for nothing plus the log books are marked to reflect it's a C nowadays, not a good call in my own opinion.
