AP BBK juddering
Sorry for another brake topic ,
I have the AP setup with DS2500 , my steering is going everywhere when i brake . Sometimes after a longer easy drive it improves . After a few time hard braking it gets worse . I know / hope that it' the DS2500 fault , I will purchase RS 29 very soon. If I look at my disks there are some darker spots , is this the pad residue ? Is there anyway I can confirm my disks aren't warped ? Thanks |

AP + front DS2500 (on track) = brake judder
try the RS29 but you my have to get them skimmed or at least sand down the face and rebed in the brakes you should have came back here earlier!!

Thanks ,
I haven't even used them on track , apparrently I brake to much and to hard . How rough may the sandpaper be to sand the rotors ? Indeed I was dumb to use the DS 2500 , I hoped they where a little better . |

And maybe ...just maybe...recheck wheel balance..throw the DS2500 away, they overheat too quickly ... allegedly... they buggerred up "Nathan was green CSL but now grey wrap CSL" front AP's, and he had to skim them as Shim the Skim says.

From other car Marque's I've heard nothing but good things about them, my mate also used them in his Sapphire Cosworth on track and they were superb, similar weight to a CSL I should think and RWD...

I still use them on the rear AP calipers and even until recently used to swap them in at the front in between trackdays (until i found the marvellous RS14 no squeal and low temp bite pads) I think on lighter cars withless heat they would be ok for trackdays. I know they work ok on E36

I warped my AP disks after the first trackday with ds3000 .
I skimmed them and fitted the Rs29 and after alot of trackdays they are still great .
