Instrument cluster inop & no sound from stereo

Hi after bringing csl out of winter storage never had a problem in 9 years of doing it. Battery was dead took battery off to charge it, put another battery on started car up everything was fine bedded csl in again,left car parked up 2 days removed spare battery & fitted original one stereo turns on but no sound at all cd won't play as well.started car up took for a drive everything all ok except for stereo fault left car for 2 hours with battery disconnected,reconnected battery back up started car up again stereo still same but now instrument cluster nothing is working checked fuses in glovebox no fuses haven't blown any help would be great to what problem is .thanks
