You & me too, but so far they have never tried to suggest I need unnecessary work carried out on the car. The opposite in fact. When I have asked about some work they have said it is not required and an explanation why.

Its a no brainer on the servicing.....get it done @ the recommended intervals and maintain the car's pedigree.

I think I'll jump on this thread if it's ok folks . I'm due an inspection 2 on time only I think. Last oil service was November 2013 @ 111k by myself @ BMW.
Although since that time in April 2014 the head gasket was changed and obviously oil renewed. Also shims checked and adjusted accordingly April 2014.

So for me the inspection 2 has had most of the items done/checked.
Car sits just below 114k now . Full BMW history. Shame to break the history but I feel like I'm wasting money. I'll probably sent her in for a II though
