I think I will disagree. Look at the two Gullwings sold at auction recently, the unrestored (well used) example sold for more than the restored example. In classic car circles you see it quite often.

But that is exactly my point. The originality is more important than mileage, every time.

In my business people don't care about mileage because they want to use them. There are exceptions but they are few and far between.

Just took it to Munich Legends for a check up and they were amazed at the condition .. Underneath is still like new never been in the wet .

you're not wrong about europe

just checked mobile.de .. crashed and needing reparis .. 39K euros,

then the rest appear at be around 80K euros upwards which is £55K +

surely the UK can't stay so far adrift ?
