Couple of questions from a new owner
Hello all,
I've got a few questions now that I've had a good few weeks with the car. 1) What's rattling in the rear left quarter? Sounds metallic, took the wheel off, shook everything, put the wheel back on, bounced the suspension a bit, can't hear anything. Then when I go over small bumps like drain covers or divots int he road, a tiny rattle. 2) Do 18s fit over AP brakes? Are they the same size as OEM? Thinking of getting some track / winter wheels sorted. |

Some 18s may not clear front AP CP5555 brakes (original E46 calliper), but CP5575 is a tiny bit thinner and clear OEM 18 M3 rims and others. Generally you should be ok if you have CP5575.

i had a slight rattle / scrape noise once in the rear wheel,
took the disc of and you can get rust / crap caught between the inner disc and the hand brake pads or you might have something loose in there
