What a great old film, ahhh 1979 a good year
They did well to keep them little E21's in a straight line, my 323i spent most of the time sideways they were a real tail happy car....

Dad had a 323i Bavaria, a specially commissioned model by Williams in Manchester, Black with Black perforated leather interior, fronts were Recaros. Rear Louvre window blind (which gave me hours of fun) Alpina front and rear spoilers and wheels, and CSL style side and spoiler stripes in silver with Bavaria badging.
That was a nice car and the 1st BM that I really remember him owning, despite a catalog of 02's prior.

Yes Ben, 1 years worth only Blink and it was gone! Confined to the annals of BMW Motorsport history.
A bit young to remember much about the racing but I am reliably informed that I was present at the Oulton Park round, despite having to view the spectacle from a McLaren Baby buggy!
