Reproductions and not BBS I suspect. Im not sure BBS make CSL rims for sale and they def will not put BMW numbers on them

Agreed, the lack of "BMW" clinches it, and I'm pretty sure they won't be made by BBS either.
The replica makers can put the real BMW part numbers and other stuff on there as they are "just numbers", but BMW's legal department have zero sense of humour about anyone using BMW trademarks (as those of us who were on the BM3W forum probably remember....). If I recall correctly, my (genuine) wheels also have BBS stamped on the back in a cutout somewhere ? For the same reason as above, I'd be surprised if yours are stamped with BBS.

I'm beginning to think this is an annual question, as it pops up fairly frequently?
BMW CSL Wheels manufactured by BBS, have the 'BMW' on the front of the wheel. Two ways of getting these wheels one on a CSL the other over the counter at a dealers or very occasional on a well known auction site. BBS 'CSL' Wheels manufactured by BBS don't have the 'BMW' branding, all markings on the reverse of the wheel are the same, (as in Marks pic above) but it is an aftermarket part and not sold by BMW through their dealership parts depts. hence the absence of the BMW logo. If it doesn't have the reverse BBS markings it's a replica!

Doesn't look like good news for me - has wheel sizes, etc etc but no BBS marking, nor does it have the BMW under the M Sport. Bollocks! Thanks for your help everyone I shall now go away and re-advertise them properly following this. Anyone know how much these are worth now it's been established they are Shan reps? Lol. |

I would think £200 as a new set is around £400
