Removing the airbag isn't actually that bad, just really footery and don't go mad with a flat head screwdriver, you may damage something in there when 'rooting around'.

As Shane says, once you've done it once, it's like riding a bike...

Default My paddle fix

I took my wheel completely apart for this exact fault. Its not the micro switches at fault. I found it to be wear on the grey plastic square buckets that sit on top of the micro switch. More so on the upshift paddle.

I fixed by putting a few drops of super glue into the underneath of the grey round bucket. This acts a shim to space the micro switch to the paddle.

Once set ( I left overnight ) and assembled it works perfectly. The paddles also have no play in them now.

FOC fix or £100 to the dealers !
