I don't have warranty, not an option here.
I have had the vanos solenoid unit and vanos gearbox replaced by goodwill of BMW AG. I also had to replace a steering rack pipe, viscus coupling fan, thermostat. The other stuff (bushes, suspension etc) are consumables in my opinion. Last but not least, I have changed the clutch set (which was unnecessary). I would advise you to get warranty since you have the option, because many expensive things can go wrong. See it as a short to medium term investment |
