I use the wrist band mount thingy and cable tied it to the front grill under the number plate, gives a great low angle on track, shows speed and looks good.

Sound Problem with go-pro
First I mounted the gopro on the Cage with a roll bar mount just behind the seat, but every little movement from the chassis/cage while driving could be heared on video as a loud squeak.
Now I have a other sound problem: the gopro is mounted on in the middle on front window and there is a whistling noise when accelerating. I can hear it only on Video, for example when I start a lap on the nürburgring or accelerating after Adenauer Forst. IMHO it is a electrical field from the engine. And it was NOT audible when I had the cam at the cage! Does anyone have the same problem? Or a solution? |

I like the sound of this mounting point Ando. Have you got any clips you can load up onto the thread ?

Resurrecting this thread now that I have got myself a shiny new GoPro Hero3 silver.
Was there a preferred answer to this for in-car mounting? Options I see are: - Rear view mirror (with a sticky pad?) - Passenger sun visor - Suction mount, which may or may not be acceptable on TDs. Hmm... |

image.jpgI used the sticky 3m pad flat mount and stuck it behind the mirror on passenger side so its out the way.most tracks don't allow suction cup mounts and i saw one person get his converscates cos he kept trying to use it on track you can see in this pic where mine is

I do quite fancy an external suction mount at some point (doors, roof) but I am aware that they can be difficult with some TD organizers. Thanks all. |
