If your car has BMW Warrenty and had a service at one of the above does the warrenty then become a bit hard to claim on?

Most BMW dealers are doing lower rates for older M cars......Cotswolds and Dick Lovett do Inspection 11 for under £800, rather then the £1200 that alot charged a year or to ago.

I paid £750 for insoection11 at Cotswolds last year but as I do aroung 5k a year in real terms it has cost me about £350 a year so I think thats pretty good for the sort of performance car the CSL is.

warranty wise surely these days you can have the car serviced anywhere as long as it is to bmw schedule and using genuine parts
though granted if you have warranty it would be easier to use bmw

^ Daves right, as long as genuine parts a nd schedule are used, your warranty stay intact.

It's advertised on BM Sports site that warranty is not affected, I only ever had one service completed by Mitsubishi in 4yr of Evo ownership..

RG saved us a few quid coupled with piece of mind that the job was done properly

If the local dealers can match to a similar price then fair enough they may get my business
