Mine has no aircon, if it was a daily driver I might get a bit pissed off. But as its not it doesnt bother me in the slightest.

Honestly....

Forget about everything except Xenons and aircon which I think are the bare essentials for an only car (mine is). If not, forget aircon.

Concentrate on maintenance and not necessarily mileage.

The cars are getting rarer by the day.

Few care about PDC or Auto wipers (or being honest, colour) as long as car is sound.

Very True Always wanted a SG one as stood out more but found a SB that was too good to pass up.

Thanks for the input. I just love the look of the focused dash on the no-option no-aircon car!

Car will mainly be a garage queen / weekend short tour driver. I'm planning on keeping it in perfect shape.
What I mainly love is the masterpiece of engineering it is, and aircon kind of takes that away (in my opinion).
Also, aircon might be trouble down the road, as it might leak or whatever else it can do.

I'm torn about this

it sounds like you want a car with no air con and no radio so if thats what you want, then I say go for it...personally I wanted a radio and aircon but each to their own.

don't worry about resale value. they'll all be worth loads of money in years to come regardless of aircon or no aircon etc. it'll make next to no difference

why not buy the best car you. an afford and take out the aircon and radio? as well as the xenon.

pdc is the only one that is not cheap to remove.

you could sell aircon to a certain hot sweaty scouser when summer turns up!

I know
I never listen to other people regarding what I want / not want, even if I ask the question.
Do you think the value will go up in the years to come? That is another concern of mine, as I do not want it to loose value. It won't be driven too much.

Removing aircon might be a very involved task, I am not sure it is that easy.
You need to remove the controller inside the car, the wiring, the compressor, the intercooler, the fan, all the lines, and I'm not sure about the belt running all that.
I think it would be cheaper to remove PDC.

who knows?
If you're buying the car waiting for it to go up in value I think you've got the wroing idea. It's just a car, a really good one at that. just go out and drive it and enjoy it. If it goes up in value, that's great! If not, who cares, you've enjoyed driving it.

i think it won't lose much value though. in 10 years time they will still be worth over £20k I'd imagine, maybe over £30k with inflation
