Default Alloy wheel refurb

One of my rear wheels has a curb mark,so I am going to get them refurbished. I have done a search on here and two companies look to get good reviews, Rimfurbish and Pristine Wheels.

If anybody has had experience of either company I would be interested in how you rate them.

My understanding is non of these companies use the exact oem colour, what is the colour to ask for that is the best match? I have seen high power silver mentioned but not sure if this is what I need.

I am struggling with the practical side to getting this done. Rimfurbish do not have suitable loan wheels but I can apparently leave the car with them. The downside is they are quoting 7-10 day turn around. I have not spoken to Pristine Wheels yet.

If you've got any other recommendations, particularly in the Yorkshire area I'd be interested.

That's an option I will look into, my only reservation is I got a body shop to refurb some wheels from my old Elise, mainly because at the time there was a lot of scaremongering in the online Lotus community about the powder coating process causing wheels to crack. Unfortunately the results were crap, so I thought I would try one of the dedicated wheel refurbers this time.

Pristine do an amazing job, they currently have some of my CSL rims doing them in satin black.
