993TT and the Sally Gap.

Left the CSL at home and we went for a spin through the Sally Gap in Wicklow.
Ok so its a bit off Topic ( non csl ) , but a really great drive through the Wicklow / Dublin mountains.

Looked like a nice day for it....how does the 993tt compare to your CSL...are they a bit of a handfull?

Its a completely different animal altogether, more power ( its running about 420-430 or so) but soo much more of a road car than my csl.
I have the CSL much more track focused than the 993, even though I have a beilstein suspension and very heavy anti roll bars in the 993 you would not believe just how comfortable it is.
I had the 993 left over at the ring for the last year and was doing comfortable sub 8.30 in it ,however the CSL would just destroy it round there, as it is soooooo much more nimble. you really can feel the weight of the TT's engine.
Two Very different machines.
