anyone got a 1 coupe 120d or 123d as their daily??
Just pondering the viability of a new daily driver and now seem attracted to a 1 coupe but need economy which assume will not be there with the 135i so the deisel.
I would also look to the M sports package for a bit of sportiness with either. Not driven or even looked at one in flesh seriously but sat here thought some of you may have opinions. Thanks ps. have a great Christmas & New Year. |

320d MSport touring here. One of the best cars I've ever owned.
I've added 50,000 miles in under 3 years, averaged just under 50mpg for those miles. Only criticism is the runflats. If I didn't need towing ability I'd have a 1 series instead. |

Is the engine from the 3 series 320d the same as in the 1 series 120d ??
The smaller 1 coupe suits me / my needs and would (hopefully) rekindle the spirt of the original e30 M3. |

My girlfriend has a 118d coupe which I use quite often. It averages around 45mpg with not much motorway driving. Only £30 a year road tax as well

had a 123d coupe a couple of years ago cracking engine even better with a remap used to get about 45 mpg out of it didn`t like the manual gearbox thought it was notchy and first gear was really short. apparently the auto is a lot better.

I have a 123d as a daily drive. I like it and it has enough poke for 'normal' use although it will be going soon for something larger as it barely copes with the kids in the back! It is a nice car to drive and i manage around 42 mpg average
