My take on the slur is that if ou drive it on the road for prolonged periods with a little slur, it gets harder nd harde to correct it. If it has only just started, a trAckday or reset will sort it.

My first clutch was replaced after slurring consistently over many miles. It was taught 3 times but did not eventually go way, at the time it was a daily drive.

Current clutch (3rd) occasionally gets a tip ouch slurry but as it is normally a very short period before it hits a track, it seems to go away annot come back for long periods.

The tech that is sorting the car has said its me being easy with the gear changes.
He sees it a lot on the v10 M5s it fucks the clutch trying to change gear easy and it slips the clutch to make the change smooth

My CSL has only started doing this last week and went right in to BMW
after they reset the clutch it was still the same so not sure what is the problem till the box comes out AGAIN

Ok, so is there a recommended technique for changing gear with them then?

For road driving I tend to lift off the throttle as I would on a manual change. Is that considered likely to induce clutch slur then?

IMHO it's the lifting of the throttle that starts the slurring, the guy who had my car before me was a lifterand when I purchased mine it was slurring like coont.Ive had a new clutch and fly wheel just under 3 years now and not lifted at all and the gear changes are still sharp as a pin. Also forget about settings 1,2 and 3 as I think this also doesn't help clutch slur and as said above if you do start to get a little slurry,go give it a blast in maximum attack mode and this usually sorts it
