Default Few pics of my SG thats I picked up this week...

2004 "04" plate

Incase anyone wonders the black patches on the leading edges of the rear arch are some 3M carbon look vinyl to protect from stone chips, this is attempt 1 as I'm probably going to change the shape slightly (plus I'm going to change it to thick clear vinyl when I find some)

Cheers for looking
Steve

Found some clear protection film so next weekend I can remove and replace and have a bit of a tidy up. Also going to change gear and diff oil and do a brake fluid change to dot 5.1

Looks really nice

I just got mine back from the bodyshop last weekend after having the rear 1/4's done so should probably look into some protection.
Let us know how you get on with the clear film please

Hello Steve - Flippers, Bumper, lights, leading edge of the bonnet and wings, are the vulnerably points which usually get a bashing from stones.
Rear panels don't tend to suffer in my experience.

However - You can get clear paint protection film here: http://www.lamin-x.co.uk/
Hope this helps.

Vinyl has been delivered and I've made some new protection bits which I'll fit on saturday with an ever growing list lol...

Started off with these and rear diff oil and has now escalated into...

Arch protectors
Diff oil
Gear oil
Brake fluid
Engine oil and filter
Vanos filter
Cabin filter
Fuel filter
Coolant change
Power steering fluid change
SMG hydraulic fluid change (well the tank section as I'm not going to attempt a full bleed)

At least I know where I am with the car if I do all that...lol
