How many points will I get?
I have just had the pleasure of opening my first speeding ticket ever
date 30th august 76mph in a 50 on a motorway bend??? I always used to see the 50 signs on bends as a challenge! so what will they do to me?

I am sure they only have 14days to noteifie you of the offence but it might just be here in scotland i will ask my traffic cop m8
Its never a good thing geting the speeding fine Read this a recent court case was won where the NIP didn't ARRIVE within the 14 days has thrown it into a grey area. Best to use pepipoo and ask there as they have police officers and solicitors that can advise you. http://www.pepipoo.com/ |

If it was send in good time, regardless of when it arrived (what was the postmark on the envelope, keep it you may need it) then it may well be valid.
If so then the points depend of if the judge likes purple? I was given 5 point + £300 fine for careless driving after some clown pulled in front of me as I was overtaking him with a massive, massive speed difference and the impact causing his car to exit stage left though a fence in to a forest where it had to be craned out so 6 point for 90 in a 70 seems harsh!
