My CSL has started suffering from a binding front calliper, but only when warmed up it seems (no excessive braking or hard driving triggering it off). Is this a common issue & one that will be covered under warranty?

I am fairly sure it is covered under warranty but cannot be bothered to research this for sure. I do not think that there have been that many instances. Not posted on here at least. However I do recall that some that have had this issue have only had one caliper and disc replaced. In an ideal world both should be replaced for perfect symmetry.

You could replace discs and pads but if the caliper is shoot it will bugger the new ones. I would get into BMW and check calipers first. Gd luck

Had one caliper seize - covered under warranty.
Tried to flog me new discs (pr) but had only just had some fitted ! They backed off and just did the caliper. (for avoidance of doubt, this was NOT Elms) |
