Road trip yesterday in Scotland

Took the CSL for a run round the trossachs yesterday what a run up the east side off Loch Lomond.
Through the Queen Elizabeth Forest Park.
Then over to Aberfoyle and up and over duke’s pass over to Loch Achrey what a road over the mountain
It was 25.5c thats 80F old money good thing my CSL has Aircon.


Here are a couple of pictures i took i should have taken more but was enjoying the driving
The car was showing 35mpg

We stopped at Loch Venachar for a coffee and a bit cake 10p change out £10 fook me Scotland can be expensive
And me being a tight scot
The lake picture is the View we had with the Coffee and cake so worth the Money.

We then went on to Callander then over to Sterling what a drive i would recomend it.

Dukes pass out the back of Aberfoyle is a great stretch of road!

If you were managing 35 mpg then you can afford the overpriced cake and coffee!!

You probably cant see it now...as may be overgrown
But acrossthe road from the hotel you parked outside of, behind the pond/ lochen. There is a random carved stag. Dont really know what the f**ck its for... Tourists or to scare deer away from. Anyway...
Great roads Mark... Think that confirms what im doing first thing saturday morning!
Ive been really sad on that stretch of road before ( just across the loch from where your pics are begore dukes pass) parked up and waited for a clear stretch before habing a good blast at it.
