I was out in the garage tonight and the drivers seat was a little lose
after some digging found this

I was under the seat it is still in the car

I had the same on mine when I bought the car. Done on warranty I seem to remember.

Hi mark, are you sure thats covered under warranty, as I think I may have the same problem. The seat on mine just moves backwards and forwards very slightly occasionally while driving.

Update
Called BMW Warranty and they sent a man to have a look
it will be fine to drive

He was going to drive it to the garage but i did not want any one driving my CSL so took it myself.

They have to get the part from germany could take 7 days
They have only one left so that was lucky.

They have put me in a brand new 520D M Sport DSG 8 Speed box
Its cool as fook happy days and i have a job in aberdeen tomorrow
